Srinagar, Aug 25: The officials in the Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district today demolished a shopping complex that had been built illegally on agricultural land in Khoie area.
On the orders of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar, a team of officers conducted an anti-encroachment drive at Bulgam in Khoie area of Sopore today, where an illegal structure was demolished.
The team inspected the site and discovered that a shopping complex was being built on agricultural land, which was eventually dismantled.
Meanwhile, the Sopore administration has warned that individuals who trespass on state land, grazing, or agricultural land will face severe legal consequences. They advised individuals to follow the laws and regulations because such land is of greater public importance.
