Udhampur, June 11: Forest Protection Force has seized a large quantity of green firewood and number of wooden logs from village Palli under Panchayar Halqa Kambal Danga in Udhampur.
Reports said that acting on a complaint, Forest Protection Force Team of Gamma Unit J-5 , Udhampur conducted a raid at village Palli and seized approximately 40-50 Qntls of green fire wood along with 29 number of logs of mixed broad leaved species compromising popular, Gadambal, Mulnerry, Kainth, Kakoa, Daman and Draink etc. The seized timber was brought to Unit Headquarters as no body claimed the ownership of the said stuff.
