REASI, July 27: Continuing its efforts to eradicate menace of illicit liquor from the society, Reasi Police today smashed an illicit liquor kiln in Kanthi area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Arnas.
Police also arrested the accused bootlegger, Mohan Singh, son of Charan Dass of Kanthi, who was preparing and selling the illicit liquor. During the raid, Police also seized four litres of superior quality illicit liquor Hooch and utensil being used for preparing the liquor while 40 liters of Lahan was destroyed on the spot.
In this regard, case FIR number 58/19, under section 48(e) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Arnas.
