UDHAMPUR, Nov 20: Basantgarh Police recovered 6 litres of illicit liquor and 130 litres of lahan.
As per reports, a team from Basantgarh Police Station led by SHO Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO Ramnagar GR Bhardwaj and SSP Udhampur Sargun Shukla conducted raid in the house of Swaran Singh, son of Amar Nath at Upperla Balota and recovered 6 litres of illicit liquor and 130 litres of lahan.
On seeing cops, the accused person escaped from the spot. The illicit liquor and lahan was destroyed on the spot.
However, a case under FIR Number 39/2020 under Section 48-e Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Basantgarh against Swaran Singh and and hunt has been launched to nab him.
