DODA, June 14: The sleuths of Forest Department seized illicit timber and small scale wood cutter machine from a shop in Block Changa.
As per official sources, the sleuths of Forest Department conducted raid in the shop and seized one small saw wood cutter machine.
25 cft illicit timber was also seized from the shop.
A case in this regard has been registered at Gandoh Police Station and investigation started.
Range Officer Bhallessa Sameer Rishu confirmed the seizure of illicit timber and cutter machine. He added that the action will be taken against the persons involved.
The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer Bhaderwah Chander Shekhar and CF Conservator Forest Chenab Circle.
