Srinagar, Sept 1: Police in Bandipora today said to have seized illicit timber from Aloosa area while as accused involved remains at large.
Acting on specific information about timber smuggling, a police party from Police Post Aloosa under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Bandipora raided the particular spot and seized illicit timber dumped in the residential house of Mohmmad Yousaf Dar, son of Gh Mohmmad Dar, resident of Kanibath, Aloosa who is presently at large and efforts are on to effect his arrest.
Police said that accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 145/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Bandipora and investigation into the matter has been initiated.
