JAMMU, Nov 26: National Mazdoor Conference has urged upon the Govt to implement 7th Pay Commission report in the State.
In a meeting of the NMC held here today under the chairmanship of Subhash Shastri, the members strongly demanded that State Government should implement 7th Pay Commission report in the State in view of soaring prices of the essential and other commodities. He further demanded that all the daily rated workers be regularized, pay anomalies in the grades of clerical cadre be removed and Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners be hiked from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month.
