JAMMU, Sept 22: The J&K Govt Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee (R) has urged upon the Govt to remove pay anomalies of the clerical cadre and implement 7th Pay Commission report in the State.
In a meeting of the EWJAC held here today under the leadership of senior trade unionists- Babu Hussain Malik, Bharat Bhushan and Yash Paul Sharma here today, the members strongly criticized the State Government for deliberately ignoring the long pending issues of the employees. The JAC accorded support to newly formed J&K State Life Insurance Employees Association.
They also demanded enhancement of Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, provision of dislocation allowance to the employees placed away from their home town, regularization of daily wagers, adhoc, contractual, need based workers besides Asha and Anganwadi workers. They appealed to the Chief minister to address their pending issues.
Ashok Singh, Meenakshi Sharma, Jaswant Singh, Parshotam Sharma, Ansuya Gupta, Seva Ram Rathore, Farida Bano, Vikas Chander, Mohd Sadiq, Vikas Sharma, Lekh Raj, Kapil Gupta, Om Parkash and others also attended.
