JAMMU, Aug 12: All J&K Low Paid Govt Employees Federation (LPEF) has urged upon the State Govt to implement 7th Pay Commission report in the State.
In a meeting of the Federation members including employees, pensioners and village guards, held at Akhnoor today the speakers appealed to the State Govt to implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission on Central pattern in the State without any more delay. They further demanded that Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners should be enhanced from Rs 300 per month to Rs 2000 per month. They also demanded confirmation of Numberdars and enhancement of their honorarium. They said that vacant vacancies of village guards be filled up shortly.
Prominent speakers included, Bindraban, R C Bhagat, Thakur Dass, Vakil Singh, Mohd Sharief, Seva Ram and Gyan Chand.
