Impose Governor Rule: Harsh

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Oct 13: Concerned over the fast deteriorating situation in J&K and failure of BJP-PDP coalition to restore law and order,  NPP chairman Harsh Dev Singh  sought imposition of Governor Rule in the State without any further delay.
While briefing media persons here today, Singh also announced NPP’s reconstituted Secretariat and Executive body.
Expressing serious concern over the breakdown of administrative and constitutional machinery in the State which had witnessed glorification of secessionists, frequent terror attacks on security and defense personnel, intensified cease fire violation from across the border, assault on Amar Nath Ji pilgrims, civil unrest, clashes, public attacks on police stations and security forces in Kashmir, Harsh Dev said  that the Ministers who ought to have come out of their hiding and made them-selves available to the civil society had deliriously shun their responsibility thus allowing the situation to further deteriorate.
Regretting that the separatists, subversives and anti nationals had virtually taken control of the situation in the valley, he deplored the portrayal of Asiya Andrabi, Chairperson of DeM as woman achiever along with the women legends of the country and the State in the banner of “Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao” during an official function in Anantnag recently. He said that only last year during the tourism festival in Kashmir, the name of “Hari Parbhat” was shown as “Kohi-maran”.
