JAMMU, Dec 22: On the eve of Merry Christmas an impressive procession was taken out here today.
The procession started from Church at Residency road and after passing through various markets it concluded back at Residency road later.
The children attired in colourful costumes in the form of Santa Claus participated in the procession. It was led by Father of Gandhi Nagar Church who addressed the procession enroute highlighted the significance of Merry Christmas and life of Jesus Christ.
A large number of members of Christian community participated in the procession on over a dozen tractor trolleys and other modes of transport.
People enroute greeted the processionists.
