Improve condition of roads to avoid accidents: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Mar 15: State president, Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery), Dimpy Kohli, has urged the State Government to improve conditions of roads particularly in rural hilly areas to avoid accidents in which thousands of innocent people lost their  lives for no fault of theirs.
In a meeting at party headquarters here at Indira Chowk, which was attended by general secretary, GI Singh, vice president, Sandeep Bhagat, State secretary, Raj Singh and other leaders, Kohli said that it is very unfortunate that thousands of people are losing their life every year and still Government remains mute spectator to this and is not taking any concrete step to improve the conditions of roads in the State, particularly in the hilly areas.
He asked the Government to improve road conditions and do proper lighting on all stretches of National Highway to avoid accidents. He also demanded to take immediate steps to have at least 6-7 ambulances along with experienced doctors on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway so that if any accident occurs ambulance can get to them on the spot.
