JAMMU, Dec 25: Jammu Welfare Origination (JWO)has expressed anguish over the frequent disruption of power and water supply in their area, today.
In a joint demonstration was held by Jammu Welfare Origination, led by its president Kasturi Lal Gupta and Bazaar Association, Mubarak Mandi, led by its president Subash Abrol at Chock Chabutra and Mubarak Mandi area to draw the attention of Power and PHE Departments towards the frequent disruption in their area.
Kasturi Lal Gupta, while addressing, said that despite lapse of about a week’s time the situation on the ground remains unchanged and people continue to suffer. He further felt concern over erratic ration supply on the CAPD depots in Jammu city and entire region.
The organization also took a strong exception to the deplorable condition of roads in the sub Urban areas of the Jammu region and in the vicinity of Jammu city and called upon the State PWD to address the issue on war-footing although the condition of roads in the city has improved but the fate of lanes and bi-lanes are still vulnerable and needed to be dealt quickly.
