JAMMU, Apr 9: Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) organized a programme on personal development offered by Art of Living.
In his welcome address, Prof JR Dhotra, Director IMS, advised the students to in built spiritual essence to tackle various types of challenges being faced by them to relieve stress through Yoga and Meditation.
Sumit Kumar, teaching faculty, Art of Living from Delhi, in his speech motivated the students with the conceptual teachings of Life. He said it is the teenage where the issues of career, relationships, peer/parental pressures and anxiety about the future all come to the fore and creates fear and stress in attitudinal and behavioral life skills leading to wrong choices, addictions, depression, anger, aggression, social violence and unrest.
He taught practical techniques through Yoga, meditation and profound breathing exercises founded on fun based learning oriented games to restore body, mind and spirit into its natural rhythm building a natural positive feel, bringing a mindset change, affecting a more effective and meaningful life.
Divya Kanchibhotla, National Director, Art of Living, Bangalore and Vikram Jain, State coordinator, Art of Living and Ajay Kapoor was also present on the occasion.
IS Walia, TPO IMS, coordinated and organized the entire program and also presented the vote of thanks.
