In-charge gazetted cadres in SED allege victimization in regularization

JAMMU, Jan 10: All incharge gazetted cadres and Plus 2 incharge lecturers of School Education Department have shown their strong resentment in delaying tactics by HRM cell of School Education Department and threatened to go on protest if their DPC meetings are not fixed.
The warning was issued during a meeting, held today under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur, who alleged that the department was delaying regularization on one pretext or the other.
Speakers in the meeting said that all formalities like Vigilance clearance, integrity, work and conduct, APRs in original stand submitted to HRM cell of the department through Directorate in the year 2019. However, they added, all such formalities of expired and retired are being demanded again and again to victimize for ulterior motives.
Pertinent to mention that the General Administration Department had constituted a five- member committee under the chairmanship of Secretary Education vide Order No :- 115.GAD of 2019.dated 23-1-2019. The committee met on 15-7-2019 and cleared 856 cases only. Since then seven DPC meetings have been postponed due to one or other reasons and transfer of four Secretaries of the School Education Department has taken place during this period.
Amar Nath Thakur said that he had taken up this issue of confirmation many a times with Advisors of Governor and also with B K Singh, the incumbent Secretary School Education, who assured DPC meeting on regularization in January 2021 and on regular basis thereafter.
