JAMMU, Jan 27: A delegation of In-charge Lecturers led by Amarnath Thakur, State President of Lecturers Association met Additional Secretary HRM and Additional Secretary Law and briefed them about their issues.
Showkat Wani of Kulgam, Ravesh Saraf, Rashid of SPHSS Srinagar, Tara Mani and Ashok Kumar were also present in the delegation.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Additional Secretaries demanding regularization and implementation of Government order No. 743 in letter and spirit to avoid “unnecessary suspicion among the lecturers.”
The delegation pointed certain instances before the officers where questions are being raised regarding modus operandi adopted.
The delegation was assured by the officers that any inadvertent mistake will be rectified.
The delegation stressed for DPC and was assured that after the completion of required formalities regular DPC meetings will be conducted.
