JAMMU, Apr 14: MP (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana today participated in ‘Gaon Chalo’ programme in Dansal area and took part in a series of activities aimed at engaging with local populace and assessing development initiatives on the ground.
The MP also led a Swachhata Abhiyan at Primary Health Centre Dansal and visited the local veterinary dispensary.
He interacted with various beneficiaries of the government schemes and listened to their concerns.
Khatana also held a meeting at the residence of a local BJP booth president and participated in a rally.
Locals of the area raised concern regarding poor drinking water facilities in the area and demanded an investigation into the newly constructed college building that developed cracks even before inauguration.
Responding to the grievances, the MP urged the concerned officials and departments to visit the area and take immediate corrective measures to address public issues.
