In run up to 2024 elections, BJP holds series of meetings

JAMMU, Feb 5: Jammu & Kashmir BJP, while further gearing up its preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, held a series of meetings here, today which were chaired and addressed by the senior leaders of the party.
The party held a “Gaon Chalo Abhiyaan” review meeting, wherein BJP president, Ravinder Raina, general secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, Seh-Prabhari, J&K Ashish Sood, BJP NEM Piya Sethi, Abhiyaan in charge & party vice-president Pawan Khajuria, discussed the preparation for the scheduled February 8, 9 and 10 Gaon Chalo programme.
In the meeting, it was stressed that every booth in every village in rural and ward in urban areas should be covered.
In another meeting of the State Election Management Committee and the Jammu-Rajouri Parliamentary constituency, president, Ravinder Raina along with Parliamentary Cluster in charge & former Dy. CM, Dr. Nirmal Singh, general secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta, former MP, Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Minister, Sat Sharma, general secretary, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, and BJP National Executive Meeting (NEM), Priya Sethi, sought detailed reports on the progress related to the working of all the committees.
Beneficiary Contact Abhiyan workshop was also held in the party headquarters, and the party leaders Ravinder Raina, BJP national secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh, J&K BJP Seh-Prabhari, Ashish Sood, Ashok Koul, Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma, Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi addressed the workshop and stressed on formulating the strategy of reaching the beneficiaries of various schemes and get their support for the party.
Ravinder Raina, while speaking in the meeting, said that the BJP has distributed important works among the party activists and each one of them has to put more effort and devote more time to ensure the party’s success with a thumping majority. He stressed on reaching every section of society and seeking their support for the party.
Ashish Sood, in the meeting, said that concrete efforts should be made to ensure that the party activists spent at least 24 hours in a village and make direct contact with the golden beneficiaries.
Ashok Koul asked all the party cadre to work dedicatedly in the run-up to the general elections 2024, while emphasizing the individual roles of every committee formed by the party.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that the party activists assigned the tasks for Lok Sabha polls must display their ability and capacity in the elections. He said that better coordination among the team members is a must to achieve the desired results.
Dr. Manyal spoke on the working of the call centers set up by the party.
