AIKHF Chairman joins Congress

JAMMU, Apr 13 : The All India Kashmiri Hindu Forum (AIKHF), headed by Rattan Lal Bhan its Chairman along with Brij Lal Hali – State president Omkar Nath Raina – State general secretary, Baby Kaul – president Women Wing J&K, Ramesh Chander along with other functionaries of the Forum, today joined the Congress party.
Another prominent social worker Rajesh Dogra along with hundreds of workers, today joined Congress party, in presence of PCC chief and other senior leaders. Earlier, Dogra was in BJP.

PCC president Vikar Rasool Wani, senior vice president Ravinder Sharma, vice president Naresh Gupta, general secretary (Org) Narinder Gupta, Media Coordinators Kapil Singh, Neeraj Gupta, secretary Michael Wazir and others welcomed them in the party.
Speaking on the occasion PCC chief said people of India have given 10 years to Modi led BJP Govt. at the Centre but it failed on all fronts. After experiencing over these 10 years full of miseries, the more and more people are joining Congress party with the hope that Congress is the only party who has history of its service and sacrifices for the nation.
He said that Congress party is fast emerging as the only choice of people because of its progressive policies, democratic and secular values being strengthened by the party, adding that secularism is the strength of Indian Nation and only Congress can lead the JKUT and the entire Nation to the path of peace, progress and prosperity by strengthening secular fabric of this country.
Wani said that after abrogation of special status, the lands of poor being snatched, the protection to jobs have gone and there are no jobs in Government and private sector. In this situation the BJP Government and UT administration has put additional burden of all sorts of taxes on poor. When the people raise their voice, they were booked on frivolous charges and crushed to suppress their voice.
PCC chief said that it is the right time for the people of Jammu and Kashmir to punish BJP for its misdeeds, by casting their valuable votes in favour of INDI Alliance candidates, so that the rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir are protected.
