JAMMU, Sept 29: A joint meeting of all incharge gazetted cadres of School Education Department of Jammu province was held here today to discuss the issue of regularization of the incharge cadre.
More than one hundred retired and serving incharge cadres as well as District Co-ordinators of all ten district of Jammu province lecturers participated in the meeting, which was convened by Amar Nath Thakur, State chairman SEECC/JKGTF.
The meet stressed that the regularization of all 8000 back log and 2500 fresh incharge gazetted cadres Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals, ZEOs, Lecturers and Headmasters has to be completed before October 10, 2019 which has not been done since 2007 till date. All speakers expressed their hope that order No.114 GAD of 2019 dt.23-01-2019, issued after SAC decision to regularize all fresh and back log as an exemption would be implemented now.
Speaking on the occasion, A N Thakur informed that during the joint meeting of Incharge lecturers and PSC lecturers, led by him at Jammu, Commissioner Secretary directed all to point out and prepare the list of all those who have been wrongly benefited so that appropriate action may be taken. He further added that department has decided now to get verified all doubtful degrees or certificates from the concerned institutions and universities and process in this regard has been started. He assured all +2 lecturers that a common platform would be announced by taking all honest, dedicated and able leaders into confidence in the near future at an appropriate time so that all pending issues like senior lecture grade, ACP , time bound promotion of +2cadre could be resolved, academic standard could be improved and transparent transfer policy may got redressed.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravesh Kumar, State co-ordinator Incharge Lecturers Forum hoped that under the leadership of Amar Nath Thakur and others like Shouket Wani, Shouket Laherwal Rajesh Gorkha, Prem Chand, Daleep Kumar, Mir Manzoor, Tsering Charol and others, the issue of regularization would be redressed.
Speakers also stressed that Government must implement its order No 743 GAD of 2007 to provide justice to all cadres.
