JAMMU, Jan 30: Stressing on the need to streamline the CAPD list of beneficiaries, CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has urged Governor to include the deprived sections of people of the State who have not been covered under latest census being adopted for implementation of National Food Security Act (NFSA).
In a statement issued here, Tarigami has said there are huge discrepancies in the database compiled by the CAPD and without streamlining its database, a huge section of the people will be rendered dispossessed of the CAPD services. He also cautioned that the NFSA should be implemented only after addressing all the apprehensions of the people in the State.
