KATHUA, Mar 18: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) president Dr Darakhshan Andrabi appealed to the Chief Minister to enhance the monthly wages of SPOs to Rs 5,000.
She said this, while addressing party workers meet here today. Dr Andrabi was flanked by Ajay Kumar, general secretary.
Dr Andrabi said that the prices of the essential commodities are rising day-to-day and the meager amount of Rs 3,000 could not cater to the needs of their families.
She also appealed to the Government to devise long-term regularization policy for SPOs.
