India appreciates inaugural Hindi radio broadcast in Kuwait

KUWAIT, Apr 22: The Embassy of India in Kuwait on Monday conveyed deep gratitude to the Ministry of Information for initiating a Hindi radio programme on Kuwait Radio, marking a historic moment in the bilateral relationship between the two nations.
The program, which will air every Sunday from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m., commenced on Sunday, broadcasting on FM 93.3 and AM 96.3. This milestone event is a significant step towards fostering cultural exchange and strengthening ties between the two nations.
On Monday, the Indian Embassy lauded the Ministry of Information in a social media post on X, expressing gratitude for launching the inaugural Hindi Radio broadcast in Kuwait. The embassy’s post on X highlights, “Start of first ever Hindi Radio broadcast in Kuwait! Embassy of India expresses appreciation to @MOInformation for starting a Hindi programme on Kuwait Radio on FM 93.3 and AM 96.3 on every Sunday (8.30-9 pm) starting 21 April 2024, a step that will further strengthen.”
The introduction of Hindi programming on Kuwait Radio is expected to resonate with the Indian diaspora and Hindi-speaking community in Kuwait, providing them with a platform to connect with their language, culture, and heritage.
The Embassy of India commended the Ministry of Information, State of Kuwait, for its commitment to promoting cultural diversity and enhancing bilateral relations through this initiative.
