India, China hold flag meet

JAMMU, Dec 31: Troops of India and China held a flag meeting today at Chushul to discuss the reported practice of illegal trade from Dhumchley.
Army officials from India and China met at Chushul this morning for about an hour to review the practice of illegal trade going on from both the sides at Dhumchley for the past quite some time now.
People of both the countries were engaged in the illegal trade of different items from Dhumchley, which had become a cause of concern for the Indian side, official sources said, adding that the two sides discussed repercussions of the illegal practice and measures required to curb the menace.
The meeting ended in cordial atmosphere with both the sides deciding to meet again shortly for follow up measures, sources said.
