India on Mars

Sir,
India scripted history when ISRO succeeded in putting India’s Mars Orbiter ‘Mangalyaan’ in the Martian orbit in the very first attempt .India has, thus, joined the elite group of other three countries of the world, which have sent their spacecrafts to Mars-the twin planet of Earth. The fact that this  ambitious interplanetary mission has cost India only only 450 crore rupees-an amount less than that spent on many Hollywood movies as Prime Minister Modi has put it-makes it all the more commendable and historical event. Our scientists and enginneers at the ISRO, who worked tirelessely for long periods of time deserve all the praise and appreciation for their superb achievement in launching the economical and indigenously built spacecraft in Martian orbit successfully in their maiden attempt unlike other suchcountries whose maiden events to do so were failed.A grateful and proud nation acknowledges the hardwork and contribution of scientists at ISRO for their singular feat. They have proved to the world that India can lead the world in making use of cheap and scarce resources to achieve incredible technological success in all the fields.
Yours etc…
