NEW DELHI: India notes with regret the way Pakistan conducted meeting between Kulbhushan Jadhav and his family which violated the letter and spirit of our understandings said MEA.
Under the pretext of security precautions, the cultural and religious sensibilities of Jadhav’s family were disregarded that included removal of ‘mangal sutra’ said MEA.
From the feedback India has received of the meeting, it appears that Jadhav was under “considerable stress” and speaking in an atmosphere of “coercion” says MEA.
Jadhav’s appearance also raises questions about his health and well being says MEA. (agencies)
