TIKAMAGARH (MP) June 14: Former Minister and senior BJP leader from J & K, Priya Sethi has said that India is poised for remarkable growth in employment generation and economic prosperity.
The senior BJP leader was speaking at Veopari Samelan at Madhya Pradesh. She lauded the Government’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to job creation, economic growth, and overall development. She expressed her confidence that with the continued focus on policies that promote entrepreneurship, skill development, and investment, India will witness even greater strides in employment generation and economic prosperity.
Priya Sethi who is also National Executive Member of BJP highlighted the significant strides made in employment generation during the nine years of the Modi Government at the Centre.
Speaking at the programme Priya said that the tangible impact of these achievements can be observed through the figures reported by the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). Between September 2017 and February 2023, approximately 6.35 crore subscribers joined the EPF, while 8 crore employees were added to the ESI during the same period.
The former Minister said that despite persistent attempts made by the Opposition and certain sections of the media to undermine Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s understanding of economic affairs, the decisions taken by the Modi Government have had a profound influence on the economy, society, and the lives of ordinary citizens. The exceptional accomplishments achieved by the Government within a span of just nine years attest to the success of PM Modi’s astute leadership in steering India’s economy, she added.
Priya Sethi said “Today, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, India is being widely acknowledged for emerging as the world’s fastest-growing major economy in the aftermath of the once-in-a-century pandemic. While numerous countries are grappling with economic challenges, proactive policies implemented by the Government, coupled with PM Modi’s visionary guidance, have propelled India to secure its position as the fifth-largest economy globally.”
She said this remarkable achievement is not merely a result of overnight transformation but a testament to the relentless efforts undertaken over the past nine years to reform various sectors of the Indian economy.
