JAMMU, July 30: India Post today announced a special discount of 6.5% on sale of Gold Coins on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan falling on August 2 through post offices of J&K Circle.
According to a release issued by the India Post, the designated Post Offices included Jammu Tawi Head Post Office, Gandhi Nagar Head Post Office, Udhampur Head Post Office, Srinagar General Post Office, Kathua Head Post Office, Jawahar Nagar (Srinagar) Post Office, RS Pura Office, Janipur Post Office and Leh Head Post Office.
This is a special offer by India Post to its valued customers valid only for a single auspicious day of ‘Raksha Bandhan’, the release said.
According to the release, Gold Coins are manufactured by Vulcambi of Switzerland and are of 14 carats with 99.99% purity.
