NEW DELHI, Dec 3:
President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) scientists and technologists on the successful test-firing of Agni-IV strategic missile and said India was grateful for their hard work and proud of their accomplishments. In his message to Dr Avinash Chander, Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, and Secretary, Department of Defence Research and Development, the President hoped that the achievement would inspire scientists and all Armed Forces and Defence personnel to make even greater efforts to boost India’s indigenous Defence capabilities in technologically challenging areas.
“I extend my heartiest congratulations to all those associated with the successful test-firing of Agni-IV strategic missile,” he said. (UNI)
