NEW DELHI, Mar 25:
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has observed over 14 lakh cyber security incidents during 2021, the Government informed the Rajya Sabha on Friday.
The CERT-In is the national nodal agency for responding to computer security incidents as and when they occur.
CERT-In has reported that a total number of 14,02,809 cyber security incidents were observed during 2021, said Minister of Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrashekhar in a written answer.
Chandrashekhar said that according to CERT-In, cyber security incidents were observed across various sectors such as e-commerce, energy, finance, Government, healthcare, IT, manufacturing, telecom and transportation. (UNI)
