India strong enough to face enemies like China, Pak: Malik

JAMMU, Nov 23:  Former Deputy Chief of Army Staff Retd Lieutenant General NS malik, said that India is strong enough to face its enemies like China and Pakistan, but the need of hour is to inculcate the feelings of patriotism amongst youth and for this cause he has devoted himself at the behest of present leadership by touring all over the country.
He said this during a Ghoshti programme organized on the issue “Desh Ki Suraksha Sambhandit Chunitian” by Trikuta Samvad Kendra J&K at Sewa Bharti Sabhagar, Ambphalla, Jammu.
Former Deputy Chief of Army Staff, who was the chief guest on the ccasion also deliberated the topic very thoughtfully, gave minute descriptions of challenges before the nation and suggested remedies to face them. In his opinion, absence of leadership qualities was mainly responsible for our country’s present situation.
The programme was chaired by Retd Major General SK Sharma and Brig Suchet Singh, Prant Sanghchalak RSS J&K was special guest.
President of Trikuta Samvad Kendra Dr Satya Dev presented the welcome address.
Brig Suchet Singh compared the border of the country to that of Mother’s clothes for the defence of which the responsibility lies with all the countrymen.
He also deliberated on internal as well as external challenges. He mentioned 5 factors for soldiers’ capabilities. He said that in the world India is 4th such country who has independent soldiers’ policy.
Maj Gen SK Sharma and Prof G Murti also presented their views on the occasion.
