NEW DELHI : India today strongly rebuffed Pakistan’s appeal to the United Nations for intervention in Jammu and Kashmir issue saying it was Pakistan’s old tactic which had not worked in the past and would not work now. “These are Pakistan’s old tactics…It has not worked in the past and will not work now…,” External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said here. The road to resolving any problems between the two countries from Islamabad came “via Lahore to New Delhi, not via New York,” he said, while firmly rejecting any third party intervention.
