India to hand over comprehensive  dossier of D-Company properties to UK: Sources

NEW DELHI :  India is all set to hand over a comprehensive dossier of illegal hawala transactions relating to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his cohorts, known as D-company, to UK authorities during Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s three-day official visit.

According to documents accessed , the Indian side has compiled a long list of properties acquired by D-company in Britain, which runs into more than Rs 2000 crore.  Members connected with the fugitive don, who purchased properties, sent hawala money and made investment through Dubai in the UK and several other European countries including Humayun Suleman Merchant, Junaid Iqbal Mirchi and Asif Iqbal Memon, sources said.  (AGENCIES)
