India to lead world in near future: DyCM

Jammu, Nov 8: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh today said that India has the capacity to lead the world in coming years and within shortest possible time it can surpass China and other developing nations.
The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking at the 1st All India Education Leaders Conference organized here today in which educationists and Principals from different states like Himachal, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir were present.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Principals are the leaders of the education and they have to contribute their bit in ensuring that the academic and education standards are uplifted across the country so that the children undergoing education in their institutions are given quality education and leadership skills.
Dr. Singh said that by making our younger generation more vibrant by providing them the quality educational avenues and related activities we can very easily carry forward the concept of Digital India and make our country self sufficient in Information Technology, economy and also create necessary employment opportunities. He said now the onus lies on us to carry forward the legacy of our great civilization which has already made its mark in different fields of education like mathematics, astronomy since times immemorial.
The Deputy Chief Minister while appreciating the holding of such conferences said that need of the hour is to organize more interaction of educationists from across the country so that the feedback can be obtained about the quality of education to be imparted to our younger generation and also give the requisite capacity building to the teachers and related staff.
