LUCKNOW: India Under-19 took a 2-0 lead in the five-match series as they beat Afghanistan Under-19 in the second Youth ODI by two wickets at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B ground here on Sunday.
After skipper Priyam Garg won the toss and elected to bowl, CTL Rakshan, NT Tilak Varma and Manav Suthar scalped two wickets each as India Under-19 restricted Afghanistan Under-19 to 188/9.
Afghanistan innings never really got going as they were reduced to 83/7 as Rakshan, Tilak Varma and Suthar shared the spoils for India.
However, Rahmanullah and Abdul Rahman put up a 55-run partnership to help Afghanistan get closer to 140. The partnership though was broken as Akash Singh dismissed Rahmanullah for 47. (AGENCIES)
