KATHUA, Apr 15: People of Jammu and Kashmir, like other parts of the country, are convinced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown real concern for the development and welfare of over 140 crore people of the country.
This was stated by Rakesh Mahajan, Incharge, BJP All Cells, J&K, while initialing an election campaigning meeting in support of Dr Jitendra Singh, Party’s candidate for Doda, Kathua, Udhampur Lok Sabha seat at Dayala Chak.
During the campaign, Lt Gen (Retired) R K Sharma, spokesperson BJP J&K Ved Sharma, co-Incharge BJP All Cells J&K Col Gurbaskh Singh, Sham Lal Langar, S K Sharma, Ravi Baskshi, Col Satnam, Parvesh Vaid, Ramit Khurana and Gurdev Saini were also present.
Addressing the gathering, Rakesh Mahajan highlighted that ten years of Modi’s regime exemplify a transformative period marked by bold reforms and decisive action. Under Modi’s leadership, he emphasized, India has witnessed significant strides in various sectors, including economic growth, infrastructure development, and national security.
Mahajan also lauded Dr Jitendra Singh for his exceptional dedication and commitment towards governance, setting new benchmarks in addressing the needs of the masses. He expressed her admiration for Dr Jitendra’s remarkable achievements, highlighting his significant contribution to the development landscape of the Union Territory.
Lt Gen (Retired) RK Sharma, in his address, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by his untiring efforts during the last ten years, has achieved the distinction of being recognized as ‘Man of Development in India’.
Seeking votes for Dr Jitendra, Ved Sharma said that the vote to Dr Jitendra will be the vote for Modi and the same will help BJP to get thumping margin as it is likely that this time her party gets lion’s share of more than 400 seats. He said that people should gauge the intention of BJP by analyzing its 10 years’ tenure.
