NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reiterated that India and China are committed to resolving their long pending boundary dispute through cooperative and peaceful means. He said the commitment to take the peace process forward was articulated on the highest level of the governments, when he visited Beijing.
Mr Modi has given first reaction to UNI about his recently concluded three-day visit to China, during which around two dozen agreements were signed between the countries.
“I made India’s point of view very clear,” said Mr Modi, in an exclusive Interview, adding that, “I and President Xi Jinping are committed at personal level to take the cooperative and peaceful process forward.”
To a question on what feedback the country received regarding resolution of the boundary dispute, during your recent visit, the Prime Minister said, ” Both India and China have potential for growth and we can together tackle the problem of poverty.” (AGENCIES)
