Our armed forces are unique in the world in bravery when in war and in providing help to the countrymen or when in distress due to natural calamities . The same was seen in Kashmir valley during the recent floods. The other part of the glorious aspect worth feeling proud about is the very strict and harsh rules for those who commit wrongs during operations .
In an encounter which was claimed to be fake in Machiel Kashmir where three persons were killed in 2010, , the army General Court Martial have awarded life imprisonment to seven army men involved in the incident plus losing jobs and other benefits.This is the commitment, transparency and the practice in our army which has rarely any parallel anywhere in the world. We are proud of our army.
