Indian Army inaugurates new project of Hospitality training

Srinagar, June 28: To empower the youth in Boniyar area of Baramulla district, Indian Army in partnership with Reacha Foundations and The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) through Vivanta & Taj inaugurated new project of Hospitality training, here today.
The project, titled “Training for 200 youth in Bakery and Food and Beverage Service,” aims to provide market-oriented hospitality training to 200 students of Chinar Nau Jawan Club, equipping them with essential skills for employment in the hospitality sector.
The project will focus on training 100 youth as Hospitality Bakery Chefs and 100 in Hospitality Housekeeping/Food and Beverage Service.
The training will be conducted at Chinar NauJawan Club, Boniyar, with two batches of 25 students each running in parallel and is scheduled to commence on June 2024 and will conclude on March 2025.
The project’s curriculum includes practical training sessions, industry exposure and certifications aligned with national standards to enhance employability.
Additionally, courses in hospitality management, entrepreneurship development, and English language proficiency will be offered to ensure comprehensive professional development.
Through these efforts, the Indian Army aims to empower youth, build resilience, and create pathways for a brighter future, exemplifying a shared commitment to fostering sustainable development and empowering communities in Jammu & Kashmir.
