RAJOURI, May 8: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta said that the BJP Government under the strong leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is engaged in crushing terrorism with iron hands to ensure development, peace, and harmony in the country.
India’s fight against terror is at a “decisive stage”, Vibodh asserted while addressing a series of meetings in Behrot, Thannamandi.
Accusing Pakistan of helping terror outfits to destabilize peace in Jammu and Kashmir, Vibodh asserted that it is the BJP Government that can take fearless decisions of surgical and air strikes and declared that our Government will neither spare the terrorists nor their sympathizers. Modi Government has succeeded in isolating Pakistan internationally, he added.
Vibodh blamed Congress for giving shelter to separatism in Jammu and Kashmir for vote bank. He maintained that Congress has always promoted Pakistan’s narrative on Kashmir and has de-motivated Indian Army on several occasions. Congress has lost the trust of the people, Vibodh said, adding that BJP is committed to the prosperity and security of the nation which has made it people’s first choice.
Speaking on the occasion president, MC Rajouri, Arif Jatt also highlighted the achievements of the BJP Government in ensuring peace, development, and prosperity in the Union Territory, especially in the remote areas. He also hailed the BJP Government for making commendable efforts to facilitate democratic decentralization in Jammu Kashmir which has turned out to be instrumental in the development and beautification of the UT.
Addressing the gathering BDC Chairperson, Planghar, Parveen Akhter said that the BJP under the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi has been successful in transforming Jammu and Kashmir. The unprecedented pace of development and growth in the UT has no parallel in the world. Mandal president, Behrot Liaquat Chowdhary, Mandal president, Thannamandi, Zahid Ahmed, district president, BJP ST Morcha, Ch Nazim Din, Mandal president BJYM, Thannamandi, Shah Nawaz Khan, Sarpanch Lah, Abdul Rashid, and Sarpanch Behrot, Mushtaq Mirza also spoke on the occasion.
