RAJOURI, July 18: Holding Pakistan responsible for escalation in border tension, senior BJP leader and Member Legislative Council Advocate Vibodh Gupta today said that Pakistan is frustrated due to overwhelming response of world community towards India and is thus hell bent to create tension on border which ultimately affects people living on borders in Jammu & Kashmir.
Talking to media persons here, Advocate Vibodh Gupta said that tension on Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch has escalated from yesterday when an Army soldier and an infant were killed in heavy mortar shelling by the Pakistan Army while three others including two civilians and a Jawan were injured in the firing. He said that Pakistan is always violating ceasefire agreement and every time it is getting befitting reply from India.
Holding Pakistan responsible for creating tension on borders, Gupta said that border shelling directly affected poor people living along LoC in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch who have suffered a lot after partition. He said that people living on border and LoC have seen miseries in 1947, 1962, 1971 and they are also suffering due to Pakistan sponsored terrorism in the State. He added that Pakistan must stop this shelling and unprovoked firing on LoC. He added that Pakistan is targeting civil population of the area which is highly condemnable.
Terming Pakistan a problematic country in Asian Continent, Gupta said that Pakistan is frustrated nation and the frustration has increased due to acceptance of India among the world leader nation. He said that popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India’s position at international level has created frustration in Pakistan. He said that India is emerging as one of the world leader country which adds to the desperation of Pakistan. It is only due to frustration and inferiority complex of Pakistan that they are resorting to firing and shelling towards Indian side of borders and Line of Control. He appealed international community to teach Pakistan a lesson by isolating it.
