India’s Haj quota now more than Pak

NEW DELHI, Feb 20:
Haj quota for the country has been raised from 1 lakh 75 thousand to 2 lakh, sources said today.
With this raise in the quota, now the number stands more than that of Pakistan’s Haj quota.
This is for the third time during the tenure of the NDA Government that the quota has been increased.
Sources said that the suggestion to increase the Haj quota was given by the Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, in a meeting with Crown prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman here, to which the crown prince agreed, the sources said here. (UNI)
