Indifferent attitude of JK admn multiplied miseries: DKSC

JAMMU, Oct 3: Displaced Kashmiri Sikhs Conference (DKSC) has claimed that indifferent attitude of JKUT administration is leading to mis-governance which has multiplied miseries of the people.
Addressing a press conference here today DKSC president, S. Harmohinder Singh vowed to launch a struggle to get solve the long pending problems of J&K people.
He appealed to the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and the administration of JK UT to redress the grievances of masses whose sufferings are multiplying day by day.
Singh urged upon the administration to act as bridge and solve the much awaited demands of the people for restoration of 4G internet service in the Union Territory.
“Non-availability of high speed internet is affecting the students, professionals, trade, tourism and industries,” he said.
Singh also urged upon the J&K LG to settle the issue of the striking employees of Public Health Engineering at the earliest so that the supply of drinking water may start soon.
“Strike of PHE employees has entered day 9 today and it has hit drinking water supply,” he further said.
The DKSC president also expressed anguish over the surge in COVID-19 cases in Jammu province and said that health facilities in the hospitals here are not upto the mark.
“The then Health Ministers of erstwhile State of J&K remained irresponsible and never applied wisdom to the health sector which has resulted in total failure of health services and has created panic among the public,” Singh further claimed.
S. T.P Singh, S. Deedar Singh, S. Manohar Singh Tulsi, S. Mangat Singh Sadhwani, S. Angad Singh and Abhijeet Singh Karan Nagree were also present in the press conference.
