Private airline IndiGo will operate its daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Istanbul from March 20, the airline announced on today.
The airline has set the flight’s prices at Rs 23,999 for one way.
IndiGo is the first Indian carrier to fly into Turkey. Istanbul is one of the most attractive tourist cities in the world and the gateway from Asia into Europe. Istanbul holds immense potential for IndiGo, and this launch is part of organic expansion within Europe for us, as we complement our domestic network with international connectivity, airline Chief Commercial Officer William Boulter said. The airline would use Airbus A321 aircraft on the route. The new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travellers who are constantly on the lookout for new and affordable flying options. (UNI)
