NEW DELHI, Oct 8: Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section of Patna and Indore rose by Rs 1,000 each at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following tight position of trucks in the market.
Transporters said tight availability of trucks for Patna and Indore mainly led to the rise in freight rates for these destinations.
Delhi to Patna and Indore freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 29,000 and Rs 26,000, respectively.
