Indu Pawar convenes Mahila Congress meeting on Assembly poll preparations

JAMMU, June 23: Indu Pawar, president Pradesh Mahila Congress, convened a meeting of the executive body of Pradesh Mahila Congress of Jammu region for discussing preparations for the forthcoming Assembly elections.
All Mahila District presidents of Jammu province attended the meeting in which an overall view of Mahila Congress was taken besides discussion in detail on the party debacle in recently held Parliamentary elections.
Mrs Pawar asked office bearers to work sincerely and whole heartedly at grass root level for establishing strong links with voters and common masses by attending to their problems and issues related to development.
She further said that Congress party is the oldest political organization in the country and it will stage a come back with flying colours. She also requested office bearers to go to field and work for coming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir to ensure that Congress Party wins more seats than last Assembly elections and form a stable Government in the State.
Neeta Desouza, incharge J&K All India Mahila Congress was also invited in this meeting.
