JAMMU, Sept 24: The 17th Global Communication Conclave, organized by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), in association with the Public Relations Society Delhi (PRSD), took place successfully on September 21st and 22nd, 2023, in New Delhi.
This event served as a prominent platform for industry leaders, communication experts, media veterans, PR specialists, event management professionals, and academic scholars to delve into crucial topics related to trust and transparency in the digital age.
The inaugural ceremony witnessed a distinguished gathering of industry leaders and dignitaries, including Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, former Minister of Minority Affairs, and KC Tyagi, Ex-Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha.
Diplomats from various countries participated, highlighting the international significance of the conclave. Representatives from the embassies of Austria, Egypt, Israel, Switzerland, and the Philippines were among the notable attendees, emphasizing the event’s global appeal.
The conclave commenced with a impactful inaugural ceremony featuring addresses from key dignitaries. Dr. Vijay Pothukuchi, a respected professional and Chairman at several companies in India and abroad, stressed the importance of a more human touch when addressing social issues.
KC Tyagi, Ex-MP and Special Advisor and Chief Spokesperson of Janta Dal United, underscored the significance of the conclave in today’s communication-driven world. The conclave revolved around the central theme of “Building Trust in the Digital Age.” It featured thought-provoking sessions and discussions on critical subjects such as the Ethical and Social Implications of Digital Transformation, Reinventing Culture in a Digital Age, Maintaining the Human Element in Public Relations, and Addressing Learning Challenges & Opportunities for Youth in the Era of AI, among others.
