KATHUA, Mar 8: An infant died after falling in a water tub at his home in village Jarmal falling under the jurisdiction of Nagri Parole Police Post of Kathua district today.
According to police two year old child Sakhu, son of Bikram Singh of Jarmal fell in a water tub at his home when no body was inside the home.
Sakhu’s father Vikram who is a laborur was on his routine work while his mother who is serving in a local Anganwadi Center had gone there leaving her son alone at the residence.
The child who was all alone in the house fell into the water tub and died. After his mother returned from the Anganwadi centre, she searched his son in the house and was shocked to see him lying in the water tub. She screamed and cried. Later the neighbors reached there and they shifted the child to Nagri parole Hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
