KATHUA, June 14: An infant was killed and 20 other passengers were seriously injured when an over loaded Tata Sumo bearing Registration No HP02M 0324 which was on the way from Bani to Duggan rolled down into deep George at Chilog on Duggan road this evening.
Four seriously injured were referred to GMC Jammy in critical condition. The other injured were under treatment at SDH Bani. MLA Bani, Jeevan Lal visited the hospital and enquired about the treatment given to injured.
He asked the doctors for all possible help to the injured and made arrangements for vehicle to shift them to Jammu. A police team also reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
It has also registered a case under the relevant sections of the law.
