JAMMU, May 1: A female baby of age about three months today succumbed to her injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesman, a woman was charred to death while her three-month old female baby had received serious burn injuries yesterday in a fire mishap at their residence in Purkhoo area of city outskirts.
He said that in critical condition the injured baby was shifted to GMCH Jammu, where she succumbed to her injuries today at about 2.30 am. “The concerned police had already taken cognizance of the matter”, he added.
